Four Seasons

“Four Seasons”
Completed late October 2017, this mixed media piece “Four Seasons” was created in stipple drawing, embossing and coloured pencil and is 20″ x 24″ on watercolour paper.
Pen and ink, coloured pencil and hand embossed.

Below is the embossing template I created for this image. I cut the image (in reverse) on illustration board. I pressed into the template with my embossing tools which allowed the paper to come forward  (note, for instance, that the corn kernels are dimentional to the viewer).
This is the largest embossing I have created. It was a lot of work but I love the results.
